Born Curious.

Built to Explore.

The Learning LOFT was built on one truth: kids are born to learn. Our job is simply to make sure that flame never goes out — and hand them the fuel to make it roar. We’re preparing them for a future that doesn’t exist yet — which means teaching them how to think, not what to think. Through hands-on STEM experiences, small classes, and learning that happens outdoors and in the real world, children discover that physics unlocks chemistry, math lives inside engineering, and science and art speak the same language. When everything connects at a deeper level, questions multiply, curiosity compounds, and learning becomes truly unstoppable. That’s elevated education — and it changes kids forever.

But here’s what we’ve learned: it changes adults, too. The Learning LOFT is getting ready to open its doors to grown-ups who are ready to remember what it feels like to be genuinely curious — to build something, discover something, or master something new. Because the truth is, that flame we’re tending in your children? It’s still burning in you.

Meet Ms. Stacy — the heart and mind behind The Learning Loft.

Her path here was never a straight line. An engineering degree, years in tech, working as an EMT on Ski Patrol — hands in garden soil, feet in river currents, heart in the mountains and out on open water. A quiet pull toward something more personal led her to a Master’s Degree in Education, years teaching high school math and science, and eventually opening a play-based nature preschool on her farm — where she fell in love with early childhood and the infectious curiosity little learners carry like a superpower.

Then she brought it all home. Today, Stacy homeschools her three girls — embracing experiential learning, making the world the classroom, and proving every day that the best lessons rarely happen at a desk.

Different chapters. Different ages. Different worlds.

But every single one came down to the same moment — the moment something clicks. A preschooler discovering how shadows move. A teenager finally seeing algebra in the real world. That spark. That shift. That’s what Stacy lives for.

The Learning Loft exists because she believes that spark belongs to everyone — every child, every adult, every age. That curiosity doesn’t have an expiration date. That learning doesn’t stop when you leave school — it just changes shape. She’s seen it happen hundreds of times, across every stage of life, and it never gets old. Because it was never supposed to.
